Walnut Street inducts 22 into Honor Society


The Walnut Street Christian School recently inducted 22 members into its Honor Society. They are, from left, front row, Clark Thomas, Bruce Thomas, Ryan Kennedy, Micah Borowicz, Oakton Rosypal, Andres Belcher, Griffin Redmon, Sophia Rinker, Sydney Kennedy and Gracey Holter; back row, Tim Longnecker (principal), Lyle Campbell, Leah Campbell, Willow Rosypal, Alyson Zell, Emily Duck, Mackenzie Conklin, Jaralyn Croak, Haley Mumma, Colleen Miller and Tom Krick (assistant principal). Missing from picture were Quentin Eyster, Vince Walk, Jacob Borowicz. The school is a chapter of the Keystone Christian Education Association Honor Society. In order to be considered for membership, these students must meet both academic and spiritual qualifications.They undergo personal evaluations, followed by reviews from their parents and pastor. Inclusion in the Honor Society provides some great opportunities for ministry. A two-day trip this spring is planned to visit Washington, DC.
