MOLU Science Labs
On Feb. 3-7 a Science Lab was brought into Central Mountain Middle School. In this lab students learned new technology, different drill bits and oil processes.
This Science Lab is provided to the school by ”The Oil Field Energy Center.” This engaging exhibit had six self-contained stations with hands-on activities about energy and the technology and science involved with the oil and gas industry.
The lab was set up in the CMMS library. As students worked their way through the six stations they answered questions that correlated to the 24 activities.
The MOLU lab helps promote our STEM curriculum. This science lab is one of only three in the U.S. The other two are in Texas and Louisiana.
Eighth grade student, Halle Lodek said, “The hands on labs were cool.”
Joe Caimi said, “I thought it was cool.”
