Doo Wop with RamaLama at State Theatre
STATE COLLEGE — Revel in the roots of rock n’ roll with RamaLama – doo wop! Singing the most memorable tunes from the 1950s and 1960s doowop, RamaLama entertains audiences with an evening performance that’ll have you tappin’ your toes, singing along, and even dancing a bit.
In this show, scheduled for Wednesday Sept. 26, RamaLama delights audiences with several tunes that haven’t been sung in the area for decades. Plus, enjoy audience participation and make requests (they’ll try a song even if they don’t know it!). It makes for an evening you won’t soon forget!
RamaLama is an a cappella doo wop band performing regionally in Central Pennsylvania singing the hits of the 1950s and 1960s. Members are Jeff Brown, Luke Lorenz, Amelia McGinnis, Eric McGinnis, Tom Wilson, and John Zimmerman.
The show will begin at 8 p.m. at The State Theatre, 130 W. College Ave., State College.
General admission tickets cost $12.50 plus a $2.50 fee.
