Fall Monday Movie Series at The State Theatre

STATE COLLEGE – On Oct. 15, 1938, Warner Brothers opened The State Theatre as a test market for new films. Today, The State Theatre, 130 W. College Ave., hosts second-run movies on Mondays at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The theatre’s Monday Movie Series is supported by Our Reel Fans.

Our Reel Fans members established this program in 2015 and are dedicated to supporting film programming at The State Theatre.

There are lovers of every genre in Our Reel Fans. They like to get off the beaten path of the top-grossing movies from time to time.

A donation of $100 or more gives a person free access to the Monday Movie Series, a small popcorn, their name listed in the group’s monthly program, and input in their movie selection process.

For non-members, tickets cost $7 for adults and $4 for students with an additional $1.50 ticketing fee.
