LHU to hold President’s Art Gallery opening
Work by J.E. Crum to be showcased
LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven University President, Robert Pignatello, will host an opening reception and artist’s talk from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25 in the President’s Art Gallery in the third floor lobby of Ulmer Hall, on the campus of LHU.
The exhibit will feature the work of artist J.E. Crum and will be on display in the gallery through Friday, Dec. 20.
“I consider myself a fantasy artist, or as I like to refer to it ‘fantastical’… I am not concerned with realism as much as I am with creating surreal abstractions of reality, exaggerating color to increase its’ intensity and combining the imagery in a poetic manner,” Crum said.
