We’re all in this together: Ten years of Concerts with a Cause

STATE COLLEGE– Join the State Theatre, MC extraordinaire Jeff Brown and your favorite local bands for “We’re All in This Together: Ten Years of Concerts with a Cause” on Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. streamed live via Youtube and Facebook.

This livestreamed event celebrates the theatre’s now decade-long tradition of hosting benefit shows for partner nonprofits and features the best bands Happy Valley has to offer, playing crowd favorites from the last nine years of shows. Featuring the music of Neil Young, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Motown, Van Morrison, the Women of Rock, the Rolling Stones, The Beatles, the Allman Brothers and the Grateful Dead, this is sure to be a rockin’, fun-filled evening!

The State Theatre has a reputation for supporting local musicians as well as other community nonprofits. They feel they’re at their very best when combining these two missions during their signature local benefit shows. As a nonprofit performing arts center, the theatre are committed to using their success to promote the success of others in the community. Their benefit shows are just one of the statements which make this goal a reality.

This year, in lieu of a set ticket price, the theatre asks you to donate generously with proceeds going to The State Theatre. The ongoing COVID-19 crisis has left the organization unable to host their traditional large-scale, in-person events and in need of support to keep them afloat.

Your support also allows them to continue their mission of enhancing our community by partnering with other nonprofits, hosting local musicians and performance groups, and providing the high-quality arts programming that has become synonymous with The State Theatre.

Bands

Pure Cane Sugar, Eric Ian Farmer, Tommy Wareham, Ted McCloskey & the HiFi’s, Hannah Bingman, LEMONT, Andy Tolins & Richard Sleigh, Kevin Briggs & Jeremy Frank and mISS mELANIE.
