WILLIAMSPORT — Plein air artist, Debra Moffitt, will be the featured artist at the Genetti Hotel’s Windows on 4th from July 1 through Aug. 31.

Debra will give a plein air demonstration outside the Genetti on First Friday, July 5, from 5-8 p.m. The Genetti is located at 200 W. 4th St., in Williamsport, Pa. This event is free and open to the public.

Debra has been an active Plein Air painter for the past 18 years, participating in a variety of juried shows and consistently winning awards in local and regional competitions.

Debra’s intent is to capture the essence of the place and the moment, whether it be an atmosphere of serenity or activity or a place of historic importance or festive recreation.

The interplay of light and shadow over forms captures her attention and imagination, and her hope is to communicate that vision and emotion through the joy of plein air painting and her studio work at the Pajama Factory.

Debra is also a member of the Bald Eagle Art League.
