Lynne will have a Meet and Greet Reception for her exhibit, “Thoughts of Summer” on First Friday, Feb. 7, from 5-7 p.m.

The Genetti is located at 200 W. 4th St., Williamsport. This event is free and open to the public!

She will be showing some of her photographic explorations including alternative polaroid images.

Lynne states, “Photography has been a major part of my life for so long that I don’t even notice the camera in my hands. When I’m doing what I love — it’s an extension of my being and I lose myself in the moment. I lean toward soft and ethereal — soft color, soft blends, soft edges. After an image is captured, I always need to further explore where I can take it. Beauty and nature are my inspirations. I see not only intrinsic beauty but look into the depths of my subject. Through my art — photography, painting and writing — I see moments borrowed from time and preserved for the future. I strive to give a gift of peace, comfort and community that can add a feeling of warmth to all who pass by — to stir emotions and to elevate the spirit.”
