Attorney Amos Goodall honored as Super Lawyer
STATE COLLEGE — H. Amos Goodall Jr., CELA, of Steinbacher, Goodall and Yurchak, was recently selected to Super Lawyers for 2019. He is Certified as an Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation. Amos was recognized by Super Lawyers as a top-rated elder law attorney for the 15th consecutive year.
“I’m extremely humbled and honored to achieve this recognition,” said Amos. “During my forty-five year career of practicing law in Centre County, I’ve helped countless families prepare for their second half of life. There have been challenges along the way and changes in law statutes, but overall, it’s been a rewarding experience.” Amos remarked, “I’m eager to continue serving the folks of Centre County with their estate planning goals and blessed to have the support from family, friends, and a wonderful network of professional colleagues.”
Amos advises his clients and their families on estate planning concerns, competency issues, and estate administration matters. He is currently serving a two-year term as President of the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF). Amos brings an extensive legal background and a passion for assisting the elderly community to his leadership role. In 2017, Amos was named Pennsylvania Lawyer of the Year by the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Attorney Goodall is a member of the Special Needs Alliance–an invitation-only practice group representing individuals and families of persons with disabilities by coordinating private resources with public benefit programs. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and he earned an LL.M. degree (with honors) in Elder Law from Stetson University School of Law.
Only a small group of attorneys are awarded the Super Lawyers designation for any given year. The rigorous selection process contains multiple steps, including independent research, peer nominations, and professional achievement in legal practice.
