Leadership Clinton County golf tourney set Oct. 4

PHOTO PROVIDED Alumni and guests participate in the annual Leadership Clinton County golf tournament. The event is set for Oct. 4 this year at Clinton County Club.

Alumni of the Leadership Clinton County program will hold their sixth annual golf tournament fundraiser on October 4, at the Clinton Country Club, 41 Fairway View Drive, Mill Hall. The day starts at 9:30 a.m. with registration and a hot breakfast, followed by an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start, and ends with an awards ceremony and hors d’oeuvres at 4:30 p.m.

The tournament entry fee of $90 includes 18 holes of golf, greens fee and golf cart, snacks, beverages, breakfast and door prizes. The tournament is a four-person scramble.

Special contests will be played throughout the tournament, including four Hole-in-One’s, Longest Drive, Putting Contest and Marshmallow Drive.

Back this year is a chance to win one of four great hole-in-one prizes: a 2019 Chevrolet Trax; 5 Days and 4 Nights aboard winner’s choice of dozens of premium cruise routes; a TourEdge Exotics EX9 Driver, 3 Wood, and 5 Wood; and a choice between a Yeti Roadie 20 Hardwall or a Hopper Flip 12 soft cooler.

Proceeds from the tournament benefit Leadership Clinton County, a nine-month training program designed to help participants recognize their own leadership potential and identify ways they might use their abilities to create a better future for Clinton County. Many people wish to improve their community in some way but are unaware of their capacity to make a positive impact or how they might be most effective. Leadership Clinton County provides the opportunities for individuals to develop a network with other leaders and explore various issues, institutions, and leadership styles.
