Best Western recognizes Ron and Abby Pete
Former local couple receives Silver Anniversary Award
LOCK HAVEN — Best Western Hotels and Resorts recently recognized Ron and Abby Pete of the Best Western Lock Haven with a Silver Anniversary Award in honor of their 25 years of service to the brand. The award was presented last month at Best Western’s first-ever Virtual Convention in front of a large virtual audience consisting of hoteliers across the company’s brand portfolio, corporate staff and senior leadership, and industry partners and peers.
Ron and Abby, formerly of Lock Haven, are among only 12 others within the brand who reached this incredible milestone this year.
“Every year, members who have achieved 25 years of continuous service with Best Western are presented with the Silver Anniversary Award for their unwavering support and dedication to the brand,” said Peter Kong, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Best Western Hotels Resorts. “It is my distinct pleasure to recognize The Pete’s of the Best Western Lock Haven with this award, as we are incredibly grateful for their contributions over this longstanding period of time.”
Best Western Hotels and Resorts’ Virtual Convention presented a unique opportunity for the company to gather and celebrate its many successes despite the unprecedented challenges of 2020. Award recognitions such as this one were among the many meaningful highlights of the event, and reinforce the brand’s unwavering commitment to lead the industry in superior customer care.
The Best Western Lock Haven features 67 rooms along with a fitness center and our Mountain View Room which can be rented for meetings or private functions and seats up to 60 people.
