Partnership Picnic to be held Aug. 5
The Clinton County Economic Partnership’s 2020 Summer Picnic is scheduled for Wednesday, August 5, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. This year’s event will again be held at the Castanea Fire Company Picnic Grounds in Castanea.
The annual event is a fantastic networking opportunity for Partnership members, potential members and guests. in a casual setting.
This year’s picnic will feature grilled pork, sides, desserts, and beverages. Partnership member Oregon Hill Winery will provide wine tasting opportunities.
Picnic sponsorship opportunities are still available. First Commonwealth Bank has signed on as a top picnic sponsor at the Gold level. VIP-level picnic sponsors to date include First Quality; Harger Utility Contractors, Inc.; Lock Haven University; Northwest Bank; Precise Electrical & Facilities Services, LLC; and Terrapin Care Station.

Partnership Annual Meeting is Sept. 16
The Clinton County Economic Partnership will hold its annual membership meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16. All members are invited to participate.
Five seats on the Partnership’s 15-member Operating Board will be filled by election at the meeting. Seats up for election/reelection currently are held by Cedar Run Environmental Services, Inc.; First Quality; Fish Real Estate; Harger Utility Contractors, Inc.; and Lock Haven University.
Take ‘Time Out’ with the Partnership
Clinton County Economic Partnership expects to resume its popular ‘Time Out’ after-hours business networking series in September.
The Sons and Daughters of Italy Loggia Giosue Carducci Lodge 146 will host a ‘Time Out’ on September 17 at their 1 North Henderson Street, Lock Haven lodge.
The ‘Time Out’ events are an opportunity for members of the business community to network in an informal setting. In addition to bringing people together, the gatherings also serve as a way to showcase the member establishments that host the event.
Another ‘Time Out’ slated for this year is an October 8 event at the WSQV FM and WBPZ AM 1230 and 96.9 FM radio studios in Lock Haven hosted by Schlesinger Communications, Inc. to mark the company’s 10th anniversary.
