Christian Women plan musical lunch
LOCK HAVEN — December’s luncheon for the Lock Haven Christian Women’s Club is slated to be a “Holiday Music Extravaganza” and to take place next Wednesday.
The program will include a concert by young harpist Willow Rosypal. Elaine Barth, local recording artist, will present a selection of holiday numbers. Rounding out the musical part of the day will be the Lock Haven Christian Women’s Club Choir whose performance will facilitate a candlelighting ceremony.
The luncheon will also be filled with fun, holiday activities and door prizes.
The speaker will be Jennifer Ebaugh, a runner who loves life and sports and talks about choices and consequences in dealing with tough situations of life and a failing marriage.
The luncheon begins at 11:50 a.m. and is held at Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Fairpoint Road, Allison Township. The cost of $15 per person includes lunch, entertainment and the speaker.
All area women are invited. On-site child care is available but must be requested when reservations are made. Plenty of parking is available.
The luncheon is designed to be a time to meet new friends and catch up with old ones.
