Susque-View residents enjoy Thanksgiving with family

LOCK HAVEN — Susque-View welcomed a record crowd at this year’s annual Family Dinner, as 434 guests enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal surrounded by live music, fresh flowers and most importantly, the company of family and loved ones.

This event has been a tradition at the facility for over 20 years and has continued to grow.

The support provided by the local community is the key to its success.

Over 65 volunteers from Lock Haven University, Central Mountain High School, the community and local churches are primarily responsible for the success of this tradition.

To ensure all of the meals were served hot and in a timely manner, all the volunteer help was greatly appreciated.

The staff at the facility also did a commendable job for all of their attention to detail.

The residents all looked beautiful, dressed in their “Sunday best,” and their excitement to be spending a special evening with their loved ones was priceless.
