Archers open a new field course in 1959

The initial shoot on the Black Eagle Bowmen Inc. archery field course held May 24, 1959 drew 40 entries. The course is on the club’s 47 acres of land, 13 miles west of Lock Haven. Archers from Lock Haven, Mill Hall, Bellefonte, Tyrone, Pine Grove Mills, State College, Lemont and Montgomery toured the course for the first time that day.
