Legion auxiliary members in tri-county area gather

Centre, Lycoming and Clinton Council’s American Legion Auxiliary’s June meeting was hosted by members of American Legion Auxiliary Unit #813 of Clarence. A special guest was Department of Pennsylvania’s Central Vice President Anastasia Bachurek, from Dickson City. Members shared information on programs they participate in for our veterans, our troops, their families and their communities, in “The Spirit of Service, Not Self.” At the meeting are, seated: Lois Royer and Sandi Miller of Millheim, Bachurek, Mary Ellen Switzer of Clarion and Shu Probst of Lock Haven; and standing: Denise Haight and Kim Schmidt of Lock Haven, Linda Womeldorf of Bellefonte, Althea Watkins of Howard, Carol Wert Walker of Lock Haven, Claire Mersinger of Millheim, Linda Bressler of Clarence, Barb Duck of Howard, and Mary Ann Hamilton of Clarence.
