Bryce Gray, 15 of Flemington, was first to complete the 5K course in about 20 minutes. Second place finisher was Kristen Cantor, right, of Williamsport. Jan Horn of Cogan Station finished third with her dog Dutchess Lucy, followed by her son, Nate, age 13.
participants take off in the first-ever Furry 5K race Saturday, sponsored by the Clinton County SPCA.
SPCA volunteers of all ages took the opportunity to show off some of the dogs currently available at the local shelter.

Tail waggin’ good time

The Clinton County SPCA held its first Furry 5K and One-Mile Dog Jog recently at the Castanea Fire Co. Picnic Grounds and it was a great success. The event featured plenty of fun and activities for all ages, prizes, a complimentary lunch catered by Pizza Mia, race T-shirts, doggie bandanas, and more.
