September is Library Card Sign-Up Month

September is Library Card Sign-Up Month at Ross Library. During the month, every patron over the age of 18 who signs up for a new library card will be entered in a drawing. At the end of the month, the drawing will be held, and lucky patrons will be given their prizes. Two lucky winners will get $50 worth of tickets to Knoebels. Gamblers Anonymous

If gambling is creating problems in your life, Gamblers Anonymous can help. An open meeting is held every Sunday in Bellefonte, in the library of St. John Lutheran Church, 216 N. McAllister St., from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Pickle-Ball

Pickle-Ball is offered at the Lock Haven Area YMCA every Tuesday and Thursday, from 1 to 3 p.m. The program is free for members and $5 for non-members. This is an increasingly popular sport. Come out and see what it is all about. No equipment is needed. For additional information, call the YMCA at 570-748-6727.

Fish of Kettle Creek

On Saturday, Sept-ember 8, at 3:30 p.m., there will be a program at Kettle Creek State Park featuring the Fish of the Kettle Creek Watershed. Topics will include fish identification, feeding habits, and more. Meet at the Nature Center.
