Flaming Foliage fundraisers
Flaming Foliage Cow Puckie Bingo with ham pot pie sale and Mr. Sticky buns will be held Sunday, Sept. 9, starting at noon at the FF lot.
The local Civil War round table will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at Avenue 209 Coffee House, 209 Bellefonte Ave., Lock Haven. Mike Hubbard will give a talk about women of the Civil War. All are welcome.
Look for Angel Lights in Triangle Park the evening of Sept. 11. To add a luminary of your own, visit The Bus Stops Here store at 115 E. Main St., Lock Haven, or stop by the park. Angel Lights is a project of the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven.

AARP safe driving courses for older adults are offered on selected Fridays from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at STEP’s Clinton County Community Center, Clinton Plaza, Lock Haven. The four-hour course — available to drivers who have taken one of these AARP courses within the past three years — is offered on Sept. 28. (Note the change in date for September.) The eight-hour course is offered over two Fridays, Oct. 12 and 19. Call 570-858-5800 to register for any of these courses.
