The Jersey Shore Historical Society on September 13, 6:30 p.m. will hold their end of business year meeting at the Samuel Moss House on 200 S. Main St. This meeting elects officers and sets committees for the upcoming year. This meeting is open to the public, now is the best time to become a member.

United for Caleb
Students from both Jersey Shore and Central Mountain high schools will band together for a car wash fundraisr for Caleb Leone, Saturday, Sept. 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Buttorff’s Hardware, Jersey Shore. Caleb has undergone major brain surgery following an injury during football practice.
A Keskunhaka (Pumpkin) Fest will be held from Sept. 21-23 at the Tompkins farm on Stonehouse Road off Rotue 64 in Lamar. The event, which will feature wood carvings, pumpkin patch, the corn maze, kids games and more, will be held from 9 a.m. to dusk on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
