MACKEYVILLE — Get the kids ready for some fall family fun.

There’s a Farm City Festival coming to the Clinton County Fairgrounds, on Saturday, Sept. 22.

The event will be held on the grounds at 98 Racetrack Road in Lamar Township and will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission is free, parking is free, and county citizens of all ages are welcomed to come out and enjoy themselves.

The festival will include a County Employees Health Fair and will have plenty of vendors, food, games, and activities available.

The festival will also feature a 5K color run, open to anyone, with proceeds going to the The Life Center Shelter Program and Clinton County Housing Coalition at 330 E. Main St, Lock Haven. Flu shots will also be made available.

For the kids, there will be pumpkin decorating, tractor races, carnival games, and other activities.

For the older guests, there will be a healthy cooking demonstration, with a chef provided from the Susque-View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

There will also be a demonstration for an exercise fitness program called Zumba, and educational representatives of other health related projects in the area.
