Dominion helps repair Sportsman Club’s fish nursery

For The Express

RENOVO — Eleven employees of Dominion Energy recently spent their workday assisting members of the Western Clinton Sportsman’s Association as they tore down and rebuilt a new perimeter that encloses their fish nursery in Laurelly Fork.

The Dominion employees removed the old perimeter enclosure that had been constructed by metal wire and mesh and then re-built the sides of the structure that consisted of leveling J Channel and fastening steel roofing from the ground to a height of four feet high.

According to WCSA member Reed Morton, the crew worked all morning, taking a short lunch break, before working well into the afternoon to be sure the fish were not un-protected for too long of a period.

“They did an outstanding job and couldn’t have been more proficient” Morton said of the work which was accomplished.

“It was such a great display of team work and professionalism, I can’t express how grateful the WCSA is to Dominion. These guys did a great job. We could not be happier or more impressed with the quality of work that these guys accomplished,” Morton said.
