Krislund has new executive director
MADISONBURG – Krislund Camp and Conference Center announces the appointment of Kim Bosse’ as its new executive director.
“On behalf of the entire Krislund community, we are delighted to welcome Kim Bosse’ to our ministry as Executive Director,” stated Charlie Winkelman, chair of the Krislund board. “Kim comes to us with a passion for Christian camping and a wealth of leadership and administrative experience that promises to take Krislund to the next level. Our search committee worked tirelessly to sort through countless applications and numerous qualified candidates and we couldn’t be more pleased that Kim has agreed to lead Krislund as we continue to build on the success of the past few years.”
Bosse’, who started at Krislund on Jan. 15, is a native of Maine and has lived all over the United States. Most of her career has been in the non-profit sector managing camps, recreation facilities, and business/community development agencies. Bosse’ has managed camps in Washington, Oregon, Texas, Michigan, and California.
“I am very excited to be joining the Krislund family and learning about the camp, its mission, and the surrounding areas,” stated Bosse’. “I’m looking forward to working with the board, presbyteries, and staff to expand the Krislund ministry, continuing to build on its past success and working toward creating more retreat and conference opportunities.”
Krislund Camp and Conference Center, located in Madisonburg, PA, is a joint ministry of the Carlisle, Huntingdon, and Northumberland Presbyteries of Pennsylvania. Founded in 1963, Krislund has evolved from a summer camping program to a year-round camp and conference center.
