Free new boots and shoes

The Shoe Bank will give free, new shoes and boots this Saturday, Feb. 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to eligible kids and youth. The Shoe Bank is inside Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Kids must be accompanied by an adult and have their Access, CHIP or similar type of insurance card, or a referral from an agency. Quilt Guild

workshop Saturday

The Clinton Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild will hold a workshop on Saturday, Feb. 16 from noon to 5 p.m.

at Mill Hall United Methodist Church, 212 Danis St. Mill Hall. The workshop is open to the public.

Pickle-Ball

Pickle-Ball is offered at the Lock Haven Area YMCA every Tuesday and Thursday, from 1 to 3 p.m. The program is free for members and $5 for non-members. This is an increasingly popular sport.
