Since 2000, Clinton County CleanScapes, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, has organized more than 117 cleanup events in Clinton and Lycoming counties, rallying more than 4,340 volunteers and cleaning up more than 1,208 tons of debris and 12,778 tires from nearby waterways and landscapes. You can help impact the local community by joining the effort. Become a member, gift a membership to a loved one, volunteer at a cleanup, or donate to the cause. Easy Does It
Dealing with an addict in your life? Come and talk with others who are going through the same things you are. The Easy Does It Al-Anon group meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the small Sunday school room of Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, Mill Hall. (A.A. meets in the big room at the same time.) Drop-ins are welcome.
PennDOT’s toll-free hotline for reporting potholes and other maintenance concerns on state roadways is 1-800-FIX-ROAD (1-800-349-7623). Drivers also may report any deer, brush or trees that need to be removed. Do not use the hotline to report crashes, disabled vehicles or emergencies, PennDOT says.
