Hannah Yorks is BPW’s Girl of the Month

JERSEY SHORE — The Business and Professional Women’s Club Girl of the Month for March is Hannah Elizabeth Yorks, daughter of Jason and Tracy Yorks of Jersey Shore.

Hannah’s activities include the following: For one year she has been involved in tennis, Homecoming Committee and Kay Club; two years, National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, National Business Honor Society, Upward Bound and Relay for Life; three years, National Spanish Honor Society, and four years, Softball and FBLA.

Hannah has served as vice president of FBLA, National Honor Society, and Spanish National Honor Society. She was also the junior varsity softball captain. Outside school, Hannah has volunteered for church dinners and at the Lycoming Animal Protection Society.

Hannah lettered in softball her sophomore year and is a member of numerous honor societies at the high school. Additionally, she has placed in several FBLA competitions including a third in FBLA Principles and Procedures. Hannah was also on homecoming court her sophomore year.

Hannah enjoys painting, fishing, hiking, and hanging out with friends. She plans to attend Bloomsburg University to obtain a nursing BSN degree.
