Not even strong winds could stop flocks of residents from coming to an Earth Day celebration at Triangle Park on Saturday. This year’s event was full of music, poetry reading, good food and of course learning the importance of keeping the world safe and pollution free. Above, Lauran Bilbay, of Lock Haven, shows the picture she drew for the “Love letters to mother earth” booth. Below, Michael and Claire Nestor, of Lock Haven, learned about the effects plastics in the ocean can have on the sea turtle population.
