Keller ‘meet and greet’ Saturday

LOCK HAVEN — Fred Keller, Republican nominee for Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District special election on May 21, will be campaigning in the area on Saturday.

A rally and meet and greet is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at the Clinton County GOP headquarters, 25 E. Main St., Lock Haven.

Clinton County Republican leaders, grassroots activists and volunteers will be on hand to help get out the vote.

Keller will face Democrat Eric Friedenberg in the special election to elect a replacement for Tom Marino, who was elected to the seat last November and resigned shortly thereafter due to health reasons.

Keller is expected to speak briefly at the event and mingle with constituents, possibly make a few phone calls and talk with the media until about 12:30 p.m. He’ll then travel to the Beech Creek American Legion where a gun raffle will be underway.
