LOCK HAVEN — Leadership Clinton County held graduating ceremonies on May 9 to complete its 19th year of the innovative training program.

Participants spent the past nine months strengthening their leadership abilities to enhance the quality of life in Clinton County.

They gained insight into our community, developed individual and teambuilding skills and acquired the self-confidence needed to make the greatest impact to strengthen our community.

Participants received citations from State Rep. Stephanie Borowicz, certificates from State Sen. Joe Scarnati and the Clinton County Commissioners, and a plaque representing completion of the program from Mike Flanagan, president & CEO of the Clinton County Economic Partnership.

The annual Wayne D. Briggs Award was presented to Michael Bilbay who showed most improvement throughout the program year.

Michael Bilbay, left, was the recipient of the Wayne D. Briggs Memorial Award. This award is presented to the Leadership participant who has shown the most improvement over the past nine months. It was presented to Michael at the graduation ceremonies by last year’s recipient Joseph Sanders IV.
