Stormie Mauck graduating from Penn State Law
LOCK HAVEN — Stormie B. Mauck graduated magna cum laude with her Juris Doctor degree from Penn State Law on Saturday, May 11.
A native of Lock Haven, Stormie is the daughter of Brian and Sharla Mauck and the mother of a daughter, Emma.
Following graduation, Stormie has accepted an associate attrney position at Dechert LLP in Philadelphia.
During her three years of law school, Stormie served as editor in chief of the Penn State Law Review. In addition to raising her young daughter, she also participated in extra curricular activities which included being a research assistant for various professors and a judicial intern at both the state appellate and federal trial level courts.
Additionally, Stormie was recently awarded the Outstanding Law Student Award by the National Association of Women Lawyers and was inducted into the prestigious Woolsack Society for being in the top 15 percent of her graduating class. These cumulative honors along with her hard work and many forged relationships led to her being elected to be the student commencement speaker for her graduating class.
Stormie previously obtained her bachelors degree in the paralegal program at Pennsylvania College of Technology where she graduated summa cum laude.
