Oregon Hill Winery plans grand opening on Wednesday
McELHATTAN — The Oregon Hill Winery will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony at it’s location at the Old Shoemaker Estate on Wednesday, June 26.
The open house will be from 2-4 p.m. with the ribbon cutting at 2 p.m.
Owner Karon Swendrowski is excited about her new location in Clinton County.
The new location serves and sells Oregon Hill wines by the glass and bottle.
There is also a selection of Pennsylvania beers available by the glass.
Oregon Hill Winery has been in business for over 35 years, and Swendrowski has decided to expand her entrepreneurial endeavors within that industry by opening another venue at the Old Shoemaker Estate in McElhattan.
The Clinton County operation is the only winery in the county, but Oregon Hill is not new to the winery business.
The main/original Oregon Hill winery is in Morris, Lycoming County and has been around since 1983.
In fact, it was the first winery to open in Lycoming County.
Oregon Hill Winery at Old Shoemaker Estate is located at 67 Reservoir Road in McElhattan.
