Spaghetti Benefit

A benefit spaghetti and meatball dinner for Dusty (Brandt) Fioretti of Jersey Shore will be held from noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday July 21 at the Independent Hose fire Hall in Jersey Shore. Money raised will help offset medical expenses Dusty has incurred over the last 8 months of hospitalization. Tickets are $8, –$10 at the door– for adults; $4 for ages 4-11 and free for those under age 3. For tickets, call Dixie Brandt at 570-398-1618.

Love the library

Ross Library invites Clinton County residents to help the library with a donation. For a gift of $25, $50, $75 or $100 made in honor or memory of a special individual, the library will send a card to the designated recipient if you request it.


Pickle-Ball is offered at the Lock Haven Area YMCA every Tuesday and Thursday, from 1 to 3 p.m. The program is free for members and $5 for non-members. This is an increasingly popular sport. Waiting Together is a support group for adults with incarcerated loved ones. The group meets at Gamble Farm Inn, Jersey Shore, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. the second and fourth Thursdays of the month.
