Student hosts tennis camp as senior project

PHOTO PROVIDED

Natalie Brown hosted a tennis camp as her senior project under the direction of head coach Pete Wert. The camp was held on June 17, 18, and 19 for campers ages 6 – 18. Natalie is on the Central Mountain High School tennis team and wanted to expose the community to the sport. Thirty-five campers attended and learned forehands, backhands, volleys, and serves. Campers received t-shirts and tennis balls. Additional training balls were purchased for the team to use during their upcoming season. The money received from the campers and the sponsors was donated to the Central Mountain Tennis Booster Club. Thank you to those who sponsored and participated.
