Library seeking donations for book sale

Annie Halenbake Ross Library is seeking donations of books for their annual book sale, which will be held Sept. 18 – 21 on the patio of the library. Most types of books accepted–antiques, paperbacks and hardbacks. Please do not include dictionaries, encyclopedias or Bibles. The library looks forward to rehoming your unused books! Ross Library is a PA Forward Gold Star Library and United Way partner.

Knit N Run

7th annual Knit N Run at Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, 111 Main St., Mill Hall, Saturday, Oct. 5, 10 a.m. thousands of hand-made items will be on display for the public to view before they are transported by the Susquehanna Valley Big Twins Motorcycle Club to local nursing homes, personal care homes and hospitals. Come and visit with the bikers and needle workers. Refreshments.

Shopping trip to Grove City Outlets

The Cheerful Workers group of Faith Chapel United Methodist Church, Howard, is sponsoring a shopping trip to Grove City Outlets on Saturday, Nov. 2. The bus will depart the Howard Elementary School at 8 a.m. and will return at approximately 9 – 9:30 p.m. The cost of the trip is $30 per person. Dental Clinic Open House

The Clinton County Dental Clinic, 266 Hogan Boulevard, Mill Hall, will be holding an open house reception to celebrate 10 years of providing dental care to residents in Clinton County and surrounding area. The event will be held from 3-6 p.m. Oct. 10 with refreshments, door prizes and give-a-ways for attendees.
