All-you-can-eat breakfast

Lamar Township Volunteer Fire Company, 91 Firehouse Road, Mill Hall, will be hosting multiple all-you-can-eat breakfasts beginning Oct. 19 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and ending on March 7, 2020. Meals cost $8 for adults, $4 for kids age five to 12 and children under four eat free. The meal will consist of eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, breakfast, potatoes, sausage gravy and scrapple. The fire company will host the breaksfasts on the following dates: Oct. 19, Nov. 9, Dec. 14, Jan. 11, 2020, Feb. 8, 2020 and March 7, 2020.

Candidates’ forum

Clinton County Christian Coalition will be hosting a Candidates’ Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 7-9 pm. This year, the event will be held in the large courtroom at the Clinton County Courthouse.

‘Paw-lidays’ photo shoots

The Clinton County SPCA will be offering holiday pet photo shoots for families and their furry, feathered or scaly friends on Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Nov. 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lock Haven Citizens Hose Fire Company. The cost is $10 and reservations are required by calling 570-748-4756. All proceeds will benefit the animals at the SPCA.

Shopping trip to Grove City Outlets

The Cheerful Workers group of Faith Chapel United Methodist Church, Howard, is sponsoring a shopping trip to Grove City Outlets on Saturday, Nov. 2. The bus will depart the Howard Elementary School at 8 a.m. and will return at approximately 9 – 9:30 p.m. The cost of the trip is $30 per person.
