Get your Soup Off tickets
The Salvation Army’s annual Soup Off will be held Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Haywood’s on the Green. Tickets are available at Stella A’s, Brown’s Hill Tavern, Haywood’s, Dutch Haven, Twisted Whisk Catering, the Salvation Army office and thrift store and The Express. JS Historical Society meeting
The Jersey Shore Historical Society will meet Thursday Oct. 17, at 6:30 pm Samuel Moss House 200 S. Main St. Jersey Shore for our first business meeting of the new year. We will be discussing our 2019-2020 programs and events highlighting local women. All of our business meetings are open to the public.
St. Lukes’ holding food drive
St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be holding a food drive during October and November to benefit the local Women’s Center. Food to be collected will be: Oct. 13, soup; Oct. 20, pasta and pasta sauce; Oct. 27, juice, and Nov. 3, peanut butter and jelly.
