Soup and salad dinner
The Judy Densevich Memorial All You Can Eat Soup and Salad Dinner will be held on Monday, Oct. 28, at Bellefonte Knights of Columbus, 315 Stoney Batter, Bellefonte. The public will be served from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. or until the soup runs out. There will be at least 16 homemade soups, numerous salads, breads and plenty of homemade desserts. Cost is $8 for eat in or take out. Quarts of soup are also available to-go for $8. No advance tickets required, simply stop in and enjoy a great meal. Benefits the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus.
Greyhound meet and greet
The Nittany Greyhounds Meet & Greet event occurs every 4th Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Petco, 40 Colonnade Way, State College. They will have greyhounds to interact with, including adoptable retired racing greyhounds, and an information table. The next Meet and Greet is on Sunday, Oct. 27.
