Church holding food drive
St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be holding a food drive during October and November to benefit the local Women’s Center. Food to be collected will be: Oct. 20, pasta and pasta sauce, Oct. 27, juice and Nov. 3, peanut butter and jelly.

Free Family
Fun Fest
A Free Family Fun Fest is planned at Echo Hope Assembly, 320 Hogan Blvd, Mill Hall, across from Curt’s Smokin’ Ribs, on Saturday, Oct. 26, from noon to 3 p.m. Free inflatable slide, carnival games, maze, candy, hot dogs, drinks and more. And it’s all free!
All-you-can-eat breakfast
Lamar Township Volunteer Fire Company, 91 Firehouse Road, Mill Hall, will be hosting multiple all-you-can-eat breakfasts beginning Oct. 19 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and ending on March 7, 2020. Meals are $8 for adults, $4 for kids age five to 12 and children under four eat free. The meal will consist of eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, breakfast, potatoes, sausage gravy and scrapple. The fire company will host the breakfasts on the following dates: Oct. 19, Nov. 9, Dec. 14, Jan. 11, 2020, Feb. 8, 2020 and March 7, 2020.
