Calendar of Events


— Ghosts and scary legends are available at the end of October at the Ross Library. Haunted tours are on the schedule at 7 and 11 p.m. The tours are $4 per person, and sponsored by the Lock Haven Paranormal Seekers.

–Free Family Fun Fest at Echo Hope, 320 Hogan Blvd., across from Curt’s Smokin’ Ribs, noon to 3 p.m., free inflatable slide, carnival games, maze, candy, hot dogs, drinks and more. It’s all free.

— Fall vegetable soup and indoor yard sale, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, 31 N. Loyalsock Ave., Montoursville. Soup cost $5 per quart and can be ordered by calling 570-368-1863.

–Pink Ribbon Tea Party at Ross Library, 1-3 p.m. Donations accepted at the Pink Ribbon event will benefit local breast cancer awareness efforts. A variety of tea as well sweets and tea sandwiches will be available. Door prizes from a variety of local merchants will also be available.

— The Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, 111 Main St., beef vegetable soup sale, 9 a.m. until noon; $6 a quart. Preorders welcome, please call 570-726-4112 and leave a message. If you have your own container, please bring it. We are handicap accessible.

— Sugar Valley Fire Company breakfast, 6-10 a.m.; breakfast buffet all you can eat; takeouts.
