Order homemade donuts now
Fresh Homemade doughnuts will be made at Trinity United Methodist Church,1407 Allegheny St. Jersey Shore, on Thursday, Nov. 21 Call the church office at 570-398-2913 Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to pre-order( recommended) and to give approximate time of pick up. Walk ins will be available the day of the sale starting at 6:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. or until all are gone. Cost is $6 dozen, $3 for half dozen.
Civil War Round Table
The Civil War Round Table will meet at Avenue 209 Coffee House, 209 Bellefonte Ave., Lock Haven, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11. They will see the movie “Gettysburg,” with a discussion to follow. All are welcome.
Say it ain’t snow!
Well, Joe Snedeker, the weatherman on Channel 16, said it is so…. that snow is on its way. He’s calling for a little bit this week and perhaps an accumulation next week. So, get out your boots, hats and gloves. It’s good to be prepared for these things whether we like it or not.
Speaking of snow….
I heard that one radio station in the area has begun playing White Christmas and other holiday music 24-7 already. Guess they started on Nov. 1. I love Christmas music, but I think it’s a bit early. They could wait until after Thanksgiving.
