Each year about this time Holy Spirit Parish starts collecting theme baskets and other items for the annual Holly Mart, marking the start of the Christmas season for many. A peak in a small office in the back of the church is filled from floor almost to the ceiling with theme baskets and other gifts for the Holly Mart and Christmas Bazaar on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 9 and 10 at the Lock Haven Catholic School Gymnasium, 311 W. Water St., Lock Haven. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday with lunch available and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday when a Continental Breakfast will be offered. Featured will be a Silent Auction, plants, great food and baked good, crafts for kids, theme baskets and a cash drawing.
