Pancake supper
Trinity United Methodist Church, 128 W. Howard St., will be holding a pancake supper Saturday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The meal will consist of pancakes, pancake toppings, sausage, applesauce and a beverage. The cost is a donation to the church.
Sugar Valley FBLA to host Basket Bingo this Sunday
The Sugar Valley FBLA is hosting a “Basket Bingo” this Sunday, Jan. 12 at the Sugar Valley Rural Charter School. Tickets are $20 each and will be available for purchase at the door. You may also reserve tickets in advance by emailing Blaine Walizer at blwalizer@svrcs.org and include your name, contact number, and number of tickets needed. This event will help fund their trip to the State Leadership Conference, April 6-8, held in Hershey. The SV FBLA thanks the community and local sponsors for their contributions in helping make this event possible.
Civil War Round Table
Civil War Round Table will be held Jan. 13, at Avenue 209 Coffee House, 209 Bellefonte Avenue, Lock Haven, from 6 to 8 p.m. Cheryl Lucas will have our yearly quiz on the Civil War. All are welcome.
Greyhounds meet & greet
The Nittany Greyhounds Meet and Greet event occurs every fourth Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm at Petco, 40 Colonnade Way, State College. They will have greyhounds to interact with, including adoptable retired racing greyhounds, and an information table.
