Republican Party meets today

The Clinton County Republican Party will meet today at 7 p.m. and Feb. 4, also at 7 p.m. at the Piper building, 100 Mercer Drive, Lock Haven, for their monthly meetings.

Fresh homemade doughnuts

Fresh homemade doughnuts will be made on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020 at Trinity UM Church, 1407 Allegheny St. Jersey Shore. Call the church office at 570-398-2913, Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to place order and give approximate time of pick up. Walk-ins are welcome starting at 6:30 a.m. on the day of sale until 5 p.m. or until all are sold. The cost is $6 dozen or $3 half dozen.

Garden Sense Symposium

What can gardeners do in January? Find out by attending the 2020 Garden Sense Symposium presented by the Master Gardeners of Clinton County. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at Penn State Extension Clinton County, 232 E. Main St., Lock Haven.

Youth ages 11 to 18 interested in YHEC (Youth Hunter Education Challenge) may attend a sign-up and informational meeting on Jan. 13 at Miller’s Gun Shop and Jan. 15 at Clinton County Sportsmen’s Assn. in Loganton.
