Free new boots and shoes

The Shoe Bank will give free new boots and shoes, hats, mittens and more, to eligible kids and youth this Saturday, Jan. 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., inside Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, weather permitting. Kids must be accompanied by an adult and have their Access, CHIP card or similar type of insurance card. A referral from an agency also makes them eligible. Hoagie sale at Lamar Church

The Lamar Methodist Church will be having a hoagie sale on Thursday, Feb. 6 at the Church. Hoagies are $5. Money helps with church expenses and outreach ministries. To order call 570-748-6694 and leave a message. Orders are due by Jan. 26. Hoagie orders can be picked up at the church at 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Career Fair

Clinton County CareerLink and Lock Haven University will host a Career Fair on Feb. 6 from 3 – 6 p.m. at LHU’s East Campus Gym (former Lock Haven High School gym). If you are looking for employees and are interested in participating, contact Dorie Gilmore at 570-893-4022. The Fair is open tothe public.

Daffodil Days orders taken

The Clinton County Flowers of Hope team is taking orders for daffodils and tulips for the 2020 Daffodil Days. Cost is $10 a bunch. Flowers of Hope team members will deliver the flowers to businesses, organizations and individuals in March. Proceeds support the American Cancer Society. Call 570-726-6598.
