Free new boots
The Shoe Bank will give free new boots and shoes 11 a.m.-2 p.m. this Saturday, Feb. 15 (weather permitting) to eligible kids and youth. The Shoe Bank is inside Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Kids must be accompanied by an adult and have their Access card, their CHIP card or similar type of insurance card, or a referral from a school or agency. The Mill Hall Kiwanis & Flemington Hi-Neighbor Committee will be having a Chicken Bar-B-Que on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Take out only. Snow date Feb. 22. Tickets $8, available from any of the members.
Free Community Spaghetti Dinner
Lighthouse Wesleyan Church, Jersey Shore, will sponsor a free community spaghetti dinner on March 7 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Independent Hose, 310 Pennsylvania Ave, Jersey Shore. Everyone invited. Sorry, no take-outs.
The Sugar Valley Lions Club will be sponsoring a Cash Bingo March 13 at 7 p.m., Lions/Sportsmans Club, 55 Sportsmans Road Loganton. Doors open at 6 p.m. Come join the fun and bring a friend.
