A Township called Wayne

Join historian Lou Bernard, 6 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Ross Library to talk about his new book, “A Township Called Wayne.” Seven years in the making, this book focuses on the history of Wayne Township, Clinton County. Lou will talk about the book, how it was created, and what makes the history of the area so special.

Rachael Karwowski’s final


Rachael Karwowski will be putting on her final performance to help raise money for a trip to Europe with the Mansfield University Concert Choir in July. The concert will be on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 3 p.m. at Swissdale United Methodist Church, 974 Croak Hollow Road, Lock Haven.

Soup sale

Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, will be selling cheesy chicken rice soup for March at $7 a quart and homemade bread for $4 a loaf. Orders must be called into the church at 570-748-6481 by 1 p.m. one March 2. Pickup will be March 7 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Planning begins in January for Daffodil Days which will be held the week of March 23, 2020. Those interested in supporting the American Cancer Society by volunteering for Daffodil Days in Clinton County are asked to call (570) 726-6598 or contact any Flowers of Hope team member.
