Distribution of Ashes
Immaculate Conception Church, 3 W. Water St., Lock Haven, will be holding a 9 a.m. Mass and distribution of ashes to mark the beginning of Lent on Wednesday, Feb. 26. Immaculate will also hold another distribution at 7 p.m. with the Stations of the Cross. St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 E. Walnut St., will be holding their distribution with the Noon Liturgy of the Word.
Soup sale at Covenant United
Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, will be selling cheesy chicken rice soup for March at $7 a quart and homemade bread for $4 a loaf. Orders must be called into the church at 570-748-6481 by 1 p.m. one March 2. Pickup will be March 7 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Ross Library seeking board members
Annie Halenbake Ross Library is seeking two new members for its board of trustees, both from the City of Lock Haven. Help shape the future of the libraries in Clinton County! The board meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., excluding July and December. Some committee work is required. Free Community Spaghetti Dinner
Lighthouse Wesleyan Church, Jersey Shore, will sponsor a free community spaghetti dinner on March 7 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Independent Hose, 310 Pennsylvania Ave, Jersey Shore. Everyone invited. Sorry, no take-outs.
