Distribution of Ashes
Immaculate Conception Church, 3 W. Water St., Lock Haven, will be holding a 9 a.m. Mass and distribution of ashes to mark the beginning of Lent today. Immaculate will also hold another distribution at 7 p.m. with the Stations of the Cross. St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 E. Walnut St., will be holding their distribution with the Noon Liturgy of the Word.
Free farmers breakfast
Area farmers and those with agriculture-related businesses are invited to a free farmers breakfast on Thursday, March 19, with Rep. Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) and Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture Russell Redding from 8 to 10 a.m. at Triangle Mercantile Building No. 62 at the Grange Fairgrounds in Centre Hall.
