Calendar of Events
— The Howard United Methodist church will sponsor a community soup sale on Feb. 20, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m at 144 West Main St., Howard. Eat in or take out. Cost is $6 for lunch or quarts of soup.
— Fresh homemade donut sale, Trinity United Methodist Church, 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until all are sold. $6/doz and $3/half doz.
— Community Lunch, Lamar United Methodist Church at noon. Spaghetti, meatballs, tossed salad, bread and desserts to be served. Everyone welcome to come enjoy good food and fellowship!
— Indoor Yard Sale, Flemington Church of Christ, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Food, along with homemade pies, will be available for purchase.
— Clinton County’s Got Talent, 7 p.m. Central Mountain High School Auditorium. Admission price is $7. Proceeds from the event benefit Central Mountain High School baseball.
— The Odd Couple Show, 7 to 8:45 p.m., Sons of Italy, 1 N. Henderson St., Lock Haven. Tickets $20 per person or a reserved table of eight for $140. Light appetizers will be served. Benefits Roads to Peace — Clinton County Women’s Center.
— Daddy – Daughter Dance, “Under the Sea” 5-8 p.m., Central Mountain Middle School Gymnasium.
— Giant Rummage Sale, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m at the Holy Spirit Parish Center, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven. Sponsored by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. There are lots of clothes; some even new, linens, housewares, collectibles, and more! Lunch is available while you shop. Proceeds benefit missionaries.
— Chicken & Waffle Dinner, 4 to 7 p.m. at the Beech Creek Social Hall. Hosted by the Orvistion Community Club. Proceeds benefit the Orviston Celebration Fireworks on July 11.
