STEAM workshop at the Station Gallery

LOCK HAVEN –The Clinton County Arts Council and LHU’s Chemistry Club plan an activity packed evening of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) on Feb. 26, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at The Station Gallery.

Art and Science will be combined to explore the Nature Behind Art by extracting pigments from natural sources, such as fresh fruit, and create a work of art with our own pigments. This workshop is for kids 9-12 and a parent/grandparent/guardian.

It is free, as the Eagles Club is the sponsor of the workshops.

Future workshop themes will be; Color (lights, filters, and laser demo; painting activity with color shades), drawing nature (drawing instructor to discuss drawing landscapes, plants and animals), photography in biology.
